Contract for the rehabilitation of 4 turn outs at KAC
through the installation of self cleaning grids has been
awarded to NAW – Nabil Ayoub Wakileh and co.

Irwa steering
committee meeting at LRA offices in Beirut. In the agenda:
state of advancement of the project , planning of the next
semester activities.
Nov. 12th
Soil less demo site at NCARE Deir
Alla Research Station: the installation has been completed
with the collaboration of NCARE and Al Qawafeh company
specialists, under the supervision of IrWa Agricultural
Expert.

Rehabilitated all the 11 critical points on the Litani
River. The company ISOPACK
conducted the works on the last 5 critical points on the
River during the period September- November 2007

Completed the cleaning of 10 km of riverbed completely
performed by the LRA. First works performed in autonomy by
the LRA after the IrWa project intervention.

International workshop "Building on adapted strategy for extension
services: case study in integrated fertilization promotion
in Lebanon and Jordan". Organized by IrWa project with the
participation of international experts and local and
international partners (APREL, GTZ, MREA). Venue NCARE/Jordan.
