“Project of an Environmental Assessment on Litani River Basin”
first Workshop

Chtoura – Lebanon.

On April 17th 2004, the first session worskhop that was held in Chtoura, Bekaa – Lebanon, tried to set the basis for a Project that aims at assessing the environmental situation on and in Litani River Basin, following a participatory approach. This workshop was co-organized by the National Center for Remote Sensing (NCRS) – Lebanon, Litani River Authority (LRA) and Development Studies Session (Nadwet al dirassat al in’ma’iya – Lebanon and funded by the International Development Research Center (IDRC) – Canada.
